Half of the public said that Britain's culture was changing too fast.

Worryingly for the Prime Minister, Reform UK voters, many in Labour's traditional heartlands were most worried about the cultural state of the nation,

suggesting that Nigel Farage's reform UK stand to

make big gains at the next election. This was all down to research from King's College, London,

and pollsters Ipsos. Let's get reaction now from social policy analyst Dr. Rakib Esan.

Rakeeb, do the public's concerns around immigration and our

rapidly changing society surprise you? Absolutely not, Mark. I think that we've seen, what we have

seen in recent years is unprecedented levels of immigration, the so-called Boris wave.

Many of the migrants originating from countries

characterized by religious fundamentalism,

hotbeds of sectarian strife and communal conflict.

And on top of that, we have the ongoing small boats emergency, which in my view poses a fundamental threat to female public safety.

So we have an utterly dysfunctional asylum system. And what we have seen in recent years, Mark, is a massive demographic change.

are on the rise, because that very much suggests that much of the British public, they really

crave a sense of stability and belonging. Definitely, there is a crisis, isn't there, in Britain's multicultural

experiment? You know, the UK is a multi-ethnic country, not necessarily an issue, but divided

communities, people living parallel lives, not speaking the language, not following the rule of

law, sometimes not active in the economy. That is definitely a failure. How do we fix it, Rakib?
