It's a new year, folks.

I mean, I feel like we got off to a little bit of a rocky start here on the new year.

And before I get into this terrorist attack and the horrific loss of life in Louisiana

and what to expect moving forward, because I have some thoughts on all of this.

And to me, it's worried me all day for a number of different reasons.

We're going to get into that and a lot more on the show today.

A couple of admin items.

Savage Rich Barris, you know Wednesdays are usually Savage Wednesdays.

They have been for the better part of,

wow, geez, over a year now. Rich today normally, he cooks this big dinner for his family,

and then they have that dinner tonight. And so he couldn't make it today, but we will get him on

the show as fast as possible to make up for it. Tomorrow he's traveling to see his family.

So, you know, this week's kind of a funky week for sure with Christmas last week and New Year's

on the weekdays, on the weekday this week,

kind of a crazy day, still holiday season for a lot of people. So we'll get through it.

Things will be more normal next week. Also, this Friday, there's not going to be a show this
