got a special birthday announcement got to be honest with you guys I feel a little

silly I've always felt a little silly about birthdays mostly about birthday

celebrations I feel silly about I've never wanted parties or anything like that

but I do like transitions in life I like talking about transitions in life and and so

You know these are much like New Year's Eve or something where I don't necessarily want to have go to a party on New Year's Eve

But I love the opportunity to reflect on the past year and think about the next year even if it is like ultimately arbitrary and one

dates just as meaningful as as the next I think any opportunity for reflection is fun and good and a real, a great exercise in

mindfulness and there's never been such a bizarre odd interesting turbulent

malleable changing time as now and so I'm throwing myself a little virtual birthday party in the form of the very first virtual

virtual stand-up science show.
