It is the biggest story about the biggest

broadcasting organization and the biggest blunder ever made involving the biggest family in the

world. And if you think any of that's not right, just think about it for a moment. The BBC,

the biggest broadcasting organisation in the world. No question at all about that, because it is

the state broadcaster. The biggest family in the world.

Think of anyone more famous than the royal family and tell me who that would be.

I don't think there is one.

And also the biggest story of all time about what happened to Princess Diana, how Martin

Bashir managed to get an interview with her, and how he managed to hoodwink the entire country

into believing

that he had some kind of special relationship with the former princess of Wales. Surely it is the

moment the BBC has proved beyond a shadow of a doubt that it is not fit for purpose. If any newspaper

had done what Martin Bashir and the inspired Panorama programme had done, it would have been vilified,

castigated, criminalised and probably shut down. Why should the BBC which hounds elderly

women into court for not paying an enforced license fee and sometimes into jail as well be any

different? Where is Sekeir Starma in this? Such a crusader against what he called the excesses

of the tabloids.

Where are those woke warriors who called for the jailing of journalists for doing far less

damage to the nation state? I suspect we won't be hearing from them because most of them are
