Every other sport is a salary cap. My opinion is we should be talking

about a salary floor and then we should be talking about a cap and we should try to try to get

a more competitive balance on the lowest payroll teams and the highest payroll teams. And of course,

that's why we won't have baseball next year most likely because the players are going to fight on the salary cap, and that's not obviously a unique thought. How about the fact that the Dodgers are spending more than the Mets, and the Mets are the second highest spending team at this point? Yeah, well, the Mets aren't done yet. I thought everything just gets rolled over a year. I don't think anything changed. So in other words, like if I sign a four-year contract today and there's no season. And there's no baseball next year. So this would be your first of your four-year contract. Yeah, that's what I thought. Next year, there would be no baseball or a portion of baseball. And then year two would pick up the first day you play.

So in year three, that would essentially be year two. I would think. You tell me you're the pro athlete with the contract. I've never seen this much deferred money like this. Yeah, I don't know. And I don't think the Mets were deferring much of anything, actually. Well, that's maybe the difference. Yeah, I guess so.
