Welcome to the Sports Motivation podcast. This is your host, Nees Showbo. This is bars, and today's another bar from Nipsey. Every time I listen to Nipsey, I hear another bar, one that I wasn't even aware of before. And today is no different. This is from a track called Effortless. He has a joint album with this guy named Bino Rodo. I'm pretty sure that's how you say it.

0:24.7

It's an older album and it's one that maybe a lot of Nipsey fans might not even know that he has and it's incredible.

0:31.3

And he has a song called Effortless and he said something very, very powerful in there that I want to get to.

0:36.2

So B-Crack, go ahead and jump right in and I'm going to break down why this is so important.

This is what Nipsey said.

0:54.5

He said, use my advantages.

0:56.9

1:37.1

1:46.5

etc. And maybe for some of those people, that's true. You know, sometimes there is a LeBron

1:51.3

where it's just like you're just born to play basketball, you've groomed for it. Although even

1:56.7

LeBron went through his share of obstacles and ups and downs. But Nipsey, when it comes to

2:01.9

rap, first of all, no one would ever confuse him for the greatest rapper of all time, meaning

2:07.1

just from a pure rap standpoint. And if you listen to some of his old stuff, he's clearly

2:12.2

evolved. But what he has done is chosen an area to dominate.

2:19.5

And he took a stab at it is what he's saying.

2:20.8

He didn't get picked to be a rapper.
