What's up, Laker fans? Welcome to the Laker Film Room podcast. I'm Pete, joined by Darius.

And today we'll continue our conversations about Lakers going into the offseason.

We've had talks about the team acquiring a second star and understanding that that's something that might not always be

available in the first transaction window that you're looking to find that. But that's a big

picture thing that's looming over the team. But again, unlikely this summer. We'll see.

Then in the starting lineup, I think the team has two very obvious needs, one at the starting

center spot, and then one at

the starting point of attack defender, shooting guard. This is the guy that guards the best player

on the other team from a night-to-night basis type of standpoint. But, Dee, there's no guarantee

that any of those positions are going to be available or acquireable over the course of this year's

free agency. But one thing, as we start the conference finals tonight that has become really apparent is all these teams have a top seven or eight that in many cases have been together for a few years or several of those players have been mainstays of that roster for a long time.

That the Lakers, whether it's this summer,

next trade deadline, next summer. You got to find those players too, Dee. And so I want to do a pod
