And today we're going to move into a topic that kind of leads off of the last episode that we did,

and that is Means of Grace, and we're talking about baptism today, right?

And we're getting into some sacraments.

And Dr. Keith, you wanted to just briefly kind of make sure that everybody listening had the

definition of sacrament that we were using.

Yeah, and I wanted to let the listeners know that they may hear a chainsaw in the background

instead of the clinking of glasses today and the lighting of pipes or cigars.

We've traded those noises for a chain.

My neighbor has decided to cut down his tree while we

record today. So we apologize if that gets in the way. Yeah, let's talk about sacraments today. Last week,

we discussed the means of grace, those things that God uses to bring people into saving faith and to

keep them there and to keep them there unto death.

And we discussed the idea that part of that is the proclaimed word of Christ, Christ's death and resurrection for the sinner.

That when that message is preached, that God uses that message to bring people into saving faith, to give them the

benefits of Christ, to keep them in his hands, and that he also uses something that we discussed
