Hello, everybody. Welcome to the episode of the show. I want to call today's show something

cool. What am I going to call it? I'm going to call it the bank of you, right? You know,

you're familiar with like, the bank of San Diego, the bank of greater western Washington.

I'm going to call today's show, the bank of you because i want to know how much are you really investing into your own

growth i know loaded question right and let's face it you know i'm too busy or i'm too poor

i'm too busy's better but i hear all sorts of excuses. When you say I'm too

busy, that is sort of like the go-to response for so many of us, especially now, right? It's cool to

be busy because you're so, you're so awesome, you're so rad. But it's sort of like this weak-ass

justification that we offer up and we can't fit another thing in

our brain. Whether we've got time on the calendar or not, it's the thing that we say when we're

tired. We say when we don't want to do something. And whether it's true or not, it actually doesn't

matter. I just believe that a reason, whether it's true or not,

whether it is a reason for we haven't pursued for the training or growth or education

or whether it's just a shield we use to fend off opportunities that require time that we don't

believe we have or things that scare us. Right. I'm too busy. If you're anything like me,

that is a story that I tell myself in my head sometimes, and I'm trying to catch myself. And that's

why I wanted to do today's show. Being busy is so often worn as a badge of honor, right? As a

testament to one's dedication and

importance. And yet, there's a line between being genuinely engaged in real productive work

and being caught in a cycle of busyness, right, that serves more as distraction than as actual pathways to getting shit done to success or to

fulfillment, right?
