vapes, ostensibly to prevent public health and environmental harms. Refilable vapes

which are less popular among young people at whom arguably this legislation is aimed

will still be available to buy.

Now if this goes ahead the UK will follow countries like France where disposable

vapes have been banned for some months.

Other countries like the US though are taking a less stringent approach to e-cigarettes.

Critics of the UK policy have voiced concern that the illicit market for potentially more dangerous types of vapes could grow as a result.
