Just more civil uprisings. Well, not going on here in Oakland yet, but in Baltimore.

This is going on right now.

Yeah, Baltimore is about an hour and change from where I am in D.C.

And, you know, just for people who haven't been following any sort of news, a man named

Freddie Gray, this is all we know, is that he was running away, unarmed.

There was no actual justification to chase him or to arrest him. But needless to say, he got

arrested by Baltimore police. And between the time that he was actually arrested and the next

time anyone saw him, which was when police called the ambulance or dispatched the ambulance,

like minutes later, his spine was

literally crushed. He was folded into a pretzel and his spine was broken. And he obviously died.

So what happened? The police commissioner, oddly enough, is the former police commissioner of

Oakland, right before the

Occupy Oakland protests they left, and now he's been at Baltimore this whole time.

Another interesting thing that's similar to the Oakland situation is just the training of Baltimore

police trained next to IDF soldiers and learned all these like Israeli military tactics.

So that aside, you know, we're seeing the same kind of reactionary presence of police where

started off tens of thousands of peaceful protesters taking to the streets, mostly, you know,

predominantly black residents. Baltimore is very predominantly black city. It's not nearly as gentrified as places

like D.C. So there's been tens of thousands of people completely peacefully marching ever since
