Hello everyone and welcome to police off the cuff real crime stories.

I'm your host, retired NYPD sergeant, Bill Cannon, a 27-year veteran of the NYPD.

We're covering a story tonight that actually is about, you know, it's about a week old,

but we all watched in horror as we saw images, and there's one up on the screen of a

Singapore flagged ship named the Dolly after

Salvador Dolly the artist crashed into the Francis Scott Key Bridge in Baltimore.

And I think that was what was the most horrifying was the fact that the entire bridge just crumbled, just came down.

And we'll get into this.

There's many heroes in this story, and many more lives could have been lost than were,

if not for the bravery of some police officers that did their job

and closed the bridge up as this horrific,

but prior to this horrific accident, this impending collision.

And tonight we're going to have a special guest with us also.

He's been on the show before, a retired FBI agent and scuba expert.

He was in charge of the FBI scuba team when he was an FBI agent.

You've seen him on all different channels, CNN, ABC, CBS, Fox.

I call him what we all refer to as a talking head.

And he's one of the best at it.
