I was an extreme small space grower, basically a window sill and a shady balcony, and I wanted

0:23.4

to get into all sorts of different types of gardening, and you know we've been talking

0:26.1

about miniature meadows this week with Mike Luzat, who is the author of Mini Meadows and

0:31.6

also an owner over at American Meadows, and you know Mike, we teased this a little bit

and I think first and foremost, you know, when you've got your containers, simple things

1:28.7

like, okay, making sure it has drainage, you know, does the container that you're using

1:33.4

have drainage holes in it, you know, I think especially for a number of these new gardeners,

1:38.6

you know, they might not be familiar with that, so obviously making sure that your container

1:43.2

has some drainage to it, and then how are you going to go about what type of soil, potting

1:48.1

soil are you going to put into the container to use, how often should you be watering it,
