past who crossed a lot of boundaries, like asking the client to run

errands, sending sexual texts, sending sexual photos, having long conversations about sex, exchanging expensive gifts,

and calling and texting at all hours of the day and night.

What would be the best way to handle boundary

crossings like these by therapists in a in a client's therapy with their new

therapists? I have had this happen recently and just terminated the

relationship after two years.

I've had trouble relating in a healthy way to my new therapist as a result, even though my current

therapist has been helpful.

I find myself repeatedly wanting to terminate the relationship, which I find very confusing.

I also feel like my story is unbelievable because it was multiple instances, many of which

were just so weird, like the backpacking trip I went on that ended

up being nude at some point, or my previous therapist making me into her best friend, who she called and texted at all hours of the day.

So what is the best way for me to work through this type of dread toward therapy and my current therapist

Despite my past experiences, I still believe in therapy and believe I need it.

But I find some days I wake up and the only way I can feel like I can gain control is to terminate my sessions despite knowing good therapy could
