Lopez, it's Coldplay, it's Aerosmith. It's a huge range of icons in American music who have had such a massive influence on the culture.

In some ways, the choice for this year is straightforward.

He's the biggest male artist in the world.

Last weekend, he won three Grammys.

And the Grammy goes to...

And he used his platform to call for an end to ice.

Republicans have branded him shameful and un-American.
