Summary

When we follow God’s design for our lives, He leads us toward health mentally, physically, and emotionally. In this message, Pastor Andy reminds us that our health matters to God because our whole lives matter to Him. Our bodies are not just something to manage or enjoy. They are a gift. God did not give us a body to worship. He gave us a body for worship. The way we care for ourselves can become a daily response to His love. While we often separate our spiritual life from our physical and emotional health, God sees them as deeply connected. He created our minds and bodies to work together so we can live out His purposes. We cannot fully step into a heavenly calling without caring for the earthly bodies God has entrusted to us. The invitation is simple and personal. How can we dedicate our whole selves to God and care for our health as an act of worship?

0:25.6	We're in the second week of a message series called Back on Track. Can we say that together?

0:29.6	We're talking about how do we get on track in all areas of our life and just a moment
0:33.6	we'll kind of come to those areas.
0:35.6	But I do want to say, before we jump into the message,
0:38.8	one of our big prayer requests this year,
0:41.2	one of the things that we're really chasing after as a church family,
0:45.1	is ultimately asking God to move in a powerful way as we seek him through prayer.
0:50.5	One of the things that we say often is that God does things when we pray that he doesn't
0:55.0	when we don't. God responds to the prayers of his people. And so at the beginning of this year,
0:59.8	we're laying prayers before God, asking him to move in power. And I had this prayer for you in your
1:06.1	life that there would be something this year that you're asking of God and that you look back
1:10.5	at the end of the year and you say,
1:11.5	God did it in my life. He did it. He moved. Maybe it's a marriage that he healed. Maybe it's a son or daughter that came home to faith. Maybe it's something God does physically in your life, but you're believing him for that. So that card that you have, I want to invite you, if you will, just to pull that out. and on the back side of that card that says we'd love to know you,
1:28.4	there's a spot that says, how can we pray for you?
1:30.9	Now, some you will, just to pull that out. And on the backside of that card that says we'd love to know you, there's a spot that says, how can we pray for you? Now, some people wrote down prayer requests, some of you last week, and we've been praying, we're seeing answers to those prayers already. But my hope, my prayer is that every person is a part of our church family would write down a prayer request with their name attached so that we
1:45.0	can pray together. And when we write on these cards, we're not talking about help the Chargers
1:49.5	win the football game, help the 49ers win. We're talking about areas of your life where you are
1:55.1	asking God to move in your life as a result of his work in this year. So I'm going to invite you at some point
