Summary

Money carries so much weight in our lives, but this weekend’s message reminded us where our trust belongs. In this message, Pastor Andy shared a simple, freeing truth: everything we have already belongs to God. He is the owner, and we are trusted stewards. Money is not the goal or the problem. It is a resource God created and a way we worship him through how we use it. In Matthew 25, Jesus tells a story of servants entrusted with their master’s money. The servant who used what he was given faithfully was rewarded, not because the money was his, but because he honored his master. God invites us into that same trust today. He places resources in our hands and calls us to use them with his purposes in mind. As we work hard, plan wisely, and hold everything with open hands, we learn the heart of this message. Trust God over money, and use what he gives for what matters most.

0:26.9	We're in the third week of a message series called Back on Track, and we've been talking about getting back on track in all the different areas of our life.
0:30.5	And the beginning of the year really does give us a great opportunity to reset and to say,
0:35.2	okay, I'm going to get back on track with God's very best in the key
0:38.7	areas of my life. And you know, one of the things that happens when you set your course or
0:43.5	you set your direction to live in accordance with God's ways is you encounter resistance.
0:48.8	And there may be some of you that already in the new year are encountering some resistance.
0:53.5	And that's a part of the journey of moving towards God's very best,
0:57.4	that we do have an enemy that wants to steal, kill, and destroy.
1:01.0	His name is Satan, and he hates the work of God on the inside of you.
1:04.8	But how many of you know that God's power is greater?
1:08.0	His goodness is greater, and he wants to give you the strength to live a different kind of life. And that's why we're doing two things. I want to tell you two things for I jump into the message. One, starting on Monday, January 26th, in this room, and at all of our campuses, we're going to kick off 21 days of prayer. It's going to start at 7 a.m. It's going to be Monday through Friday, those three
1:27.7	weeks. We're going to come in the house of God, into the church, and we're going to seek the heart of God for our families, for our community. We're going to ask God to move in our day, and it's going to be a very powerful time that God's going to use in our lives to set up the rest of the years. So I want to encourage you to mark your calendars
1:45.7	and to be in person with us to join us for this prayer time that kicks off. Some of you, this could be a little bit early, so you're going to have to start getting to bed a little bit earlier as we get close to that time. But I'm just so confident that if you'll take that step, God will meet you there and he'll do powerful things in your life as a result.
