I went from being unable to run a mile to conquering four marathons the following year.

Now I want to help others manufacture big breakthroughs of their own.

Yeah, and it's oftentimes too, like some of our hard times bring out a lot of beauty you know so many people look at my story

and maybe their first thought is like oh that's horrible like I can't believe that happened to her

but then like look at my life since like I never would have had the impact that I had if I hadn't

lost my eyes if I hadn't lost back on my board.

So a huge, like, kind of message I'm just trying to encourage people in is just get back on

your board because we all fall off along the way.

Like there's just wipeouts, there's things that happen.

But it doesn't mean we can't get back on our board and create beauty and have excitement and adventure and purpose and life beyond, you know, those hiccups along the way.

On today's episode of the CLS experience, we have a very special treat.

She's a professional surfer, speaker, and author of one of my personal favorite

books, Soul Surfer. She's a beacon of hope, faith, and resilience. She's an unstoppable

force whose perspective will change her life as it has for me and the thousands I have shared

her story with. Her inspirational story is told in the movie Soul Surfer,

and most recently, the documentary Unstoppable.

Her mindset is absolutely bulletproof,

and the impact she's had on this world is tremendous.

She's just an overall juggernaut in all facets of life and a terrific human being.
