I'm I'm Errols Matt Houchbrook, and this is episode number 500 and 58. This past week, I was on Royal Caribbean's Icon of the Seas for the first time in, well, almost a year and more than a year since Icon debuted. And I wanted to share with you things that really stood out about this ship

more than a year since her initial debut.

With all that hype, how does it really add up?

Let's talk about it.

Here we go.

It's been over a year since Icon of the seas debuted, and I really was surprised when we had

this cruise book that I hadn't been on her since July.

It just seemed like, I mean,

I would have been on ICON since then,

because the last time I was on ICON was the Royal Ream blog Group Cruise.

And the reality is it wasn't.

I mean,

what happened, I think, in a lot of cases,

was Utopia just took over.

And we did a lot of sailings on Utopia since her debut,

which came up after my last selling on ICON, but I loved Icon when I

went on her, but I was a little leery of, like, would it still hold up? Would it still be as good

as I remembered? That was something I thought about a lot, and I was concerned that while I've

told everybody that Icon is my new favorite cruise ship out there, you know, would it really like be as good as I remembered.

And the good news is, let me spoiler alert, it was.
