Back home, back in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, after a road trip down to Florida to meet my new granddaughter, Savannah.

Isn't it good when you go away, no matter how glorious the trip is, how much fun it is,

how enjoyable it is to spend time with family, if you're a visiting family, how nice it is to get back home, to walk in your house, to sleep in your bed.

That was so wonderful.

A year ago, actually I don't even think it was quite a year ago.

Dave and I took a trip out west.

And we went to three different places.

And the last place was Las Vegas for the wedding of a couple of dear friends.

We were ready to get home. We were looking forward to getting home, and our flight out of Vegas was canceled.

So it took us 24 hours longer to get home.

And when you were like right there, ready to leave, to head home, and that's removed,

that was not a fun day.

That was not a fun day.

Got an email from Gloria on Tuesday.

And Tuesday, the first episode, I was a little mysterious about where I was headed.

Got an email from Gloria, are you going to Florida to meet a new grandchild?
