And I'm your host Josie Van Dyke and this is my birth story podcast episode and I'm coming from you I'm coming from you I'm coming to you live from my freezing cold podcast room with mastitis and you might be thinking

Josie why are you podcasting right now?

And it is because, A, the feelings are fresh,

and I want to tell my birth story when everything is fresh and I still really remember it and I'm kind of like in the thick of it.

And today's the only day that I was able to have my kids out of the house and then my mom,

Gee, shout out to my mom, we love her, watching banks upstairs. He's on oxygen and I can't really leave my living room so yeah this this is where we're at. I'm on antibiotics, so I'm feeling a little bit better, but I'm like going from like chills to sweating to death,

chills, sweating to death.

And right now I'm in my chill era,

and I have at least, let's see, one, two, three,

four blankets on top of me and my weekly dress sweatshirt, slippers, socks, and honestly I should be wearing

gloves.

It is so fucking cold in my basement, but we are here and we're gonna tell my birth story but before we

dive right on into my birth story with Banks. I feel like I should give a

backstory on my other labors since a lot of you didn't know. Some of you didn't

even know I had other kids. A lot of you think this is my first baby.

I have two other children. Bentley, she's four, Brooks, he's two, and Banks. He's almost two weeks old.

So I've done. and Banks, he's almost two weeks old.

So I've done this a few times,

and with Bentley, my water broke at 37 weeks,
