Hey everyone, it's Boomer and Gio, and if you're into New York sports or you want straight talk about what's really going on in the sports world, Boomer and Geo is your show. We're covering it all. Yankees wins, Giants drama, national headlines, and whatever chaos the day brings on the field and all. No filler, no filters, just real conversation. And believe me, plenty of laughs every weekday morning. We don't hold back and we don't waste your time.

We get to what actually matters.

0:24.5

That's boomer and geo and you can listen on Apple Podcasts, Spotify, or wherever you get your pods. What's up guys? I'm Jordan Robinson, host of the podcast, The Women's Hoops Show. We're heading towards the home stretch of the WMBA season, and there is so much to get into every episode. Twice a week, I'm joined by one of my amazing co-hosts as we dissect the biggest games, performances, and even some off-court drama. The playoffs are quickly approaching, and now is the best time to tune in. Who will come away is this year's champion? The competition is heating up,

0:54.4

and so are we. Listen to and follow the women's hoops show available now, wherever you get your

0:59.1

podcasts. Can't get enough of Boomer and Cardin in the morning. Al Tewks and Cherry are here

1:05.4

with some sports news and updates they didn't have time to cover. Here we go! It's the Boomer and

1:09.8

Carton Coast Game Show with Al and Jerry. Oh, here we go on the Tuesday podcast. What's up? I came to your defense there, dude. Good job, Jerry. I did not like that today. I thought they were getting on you unnecessarily, and I thought that was crap. Well, yeah, I mean, to bring everyone up to speed with that, Craig was upset about, you know, there's different rules now.

1:30.6

Like, you and I were talking during the break a couple times throughout the show.

1:35.1

You know, we're in a weird era for radio and new technology and news and entertainment sourcing and podcasting and all that stuff.

1:45.1

And media places like CBS Radio, no one wants to break any rules.

1:49.9

So the discussion that was going on is that Craig was wondering where the video and audio was

1:56.3

of the Garden of Dreams children coming in and singing to that Mark Robers' O-A-R song,

2:02.4

which they did a great job at, and Craig wanted to know, hey, why didn't we post that?

2:07.5

Right.

2:08.1

Well, we've been told that you cannot post any podcasts whatsoever that have any copyrighted music in it.

2:16.5

And Craig had heard otherwise. Craig heard, well,

2:19.0

if it was a performance, you're allowed to post it for 24 hours. But I said their performance

2:25.4

was over a copyrighted song. So there was some confusion of that. And I know why it's

2:31.4

annoying to Craig. And then he's also got annoyed, because this

2:36.6

happens throughout the year. But before you go on that, one question on the music thing, because

2:40.4

I tried getting this in, but God forbid I get two seconds to open my mouth. If you get the singer

2:46.3

from the band in a situation like that to sign a release, then in this one instance, we as a group, you have our permission to do whatever you want. But the problem is Mark Robers, who wrote that song for O-A-R. Right. He doesn't own that. The publishing company has a cut in that. The record company has a cut in that. So you've got to get everyone's permission. So the answer is no. So the answer is no. Okay. Unfortunately, it gets very complicated. All right, because this one, to me, I'm very interested in what you're going to hit next. So then Craig was also talking about, and it happens throughout the year where Boomer sits here on the WFAN and CBS Sports Network on television,
