Yeah. Strap in listeners. It comes in just shy of two hours, and it's an episode that's long

been coming. I was texting one friend of mine who's also a listener,

and he said, you guys haven't done an episode on Ein Rand yet? And I said, I know, it was a mistake.

We rectified it. And we had on the perfect guest, Jennifer Burns, a Stanford historian and

author of Goddess of the Market, Ein Rand, and the American Right, which actually was her first book.

It came out in 2009. More recently, she published a biography of Milton Friedman that we had her on the show to

discuss a little over a year ago. So she's kind of the historian of libertarian politics, the figures

of libertarianism in the 20th century, and she was fantastic.

She was really good. I mean, we don't really have to say that much about this.

People probably know who Einrand is what her deal is, but you'll get more than enough of the

very, very minute details and texture of her thought and her biography from the episode.

The only thing I would add is that listeners may pick up right away that there's

some thematic overlap between this episode and the last one we did on the main feed with Eric Baker

about the entrepreneurial work ethic. I will just acknowledge here that there is a method to our

madness in the sense that we actually plan to have that entrepreneurial episode set up this

iron rand episode which will in turn also set up an episode we're going to do soon on the

main feed on you guessed it Elon Musk the man very very much unfortunately of the hour yes i'm

reading walter isickson's biography as I know you see them are as well,

and I have to take like steaming hot showers like every hour or so after reading it. It's just so
