He went to medical school at Georgetown University, trained in medicine at Northwestern

Memorial Hospital, and gastroenterology at the University of North Carolina Hospitals. He has a

Master's of Science and Clinical Investigation from Northwestern University and a certificate in nutrition

from Cornell University. He's board certified in internal medicine and gastroenterology

and an expert in digestive diseases and the gut.

His book and his work are inspiring at a time

when there's so much false information on social media about gut health.
