Good morning, God morning to you.

Seeing without eyes, hearing without ears, walking without feet, working without hands

uttering his name without tongue and dying while living, is truly accepting God's will.

That's guru-wing God, relax your shoulders and sway a little.

Allow your body to wrap gently.

And if you can close your eyes, but they can remain open, and I want you to sing to yourself with your inner voice,

roll, roll, roll your boat. Don't move your tongue, don't move your lips. Hear the song inside.

You know what you weren't doing while you were singing that song without tongue, without lips?

You weren't thinking about your problems or the world. You weren't thinking about yourself.

It's just the song, for that moment, there was just the song in the silence.

Last night, my son couldn't get to sleep, afraid of the dark, afraid of his own thoughts, right? His imagination.

And reasoning was not working. And so I told him to close his eyes and sing that song he's been singing for weeks that there once was a ship that put to sea.

I had a well-ermened song, and I watched him do it. And I didn't know if he understood what I was saying to sing it in his mind.

But when I checked in with him, he's like, yeah, I'm already on, you know, whatever part of the song he said.

And I kissed him on his head, and he was smiling by this time, no longer crying.

And before I walked out the room, he was like, why do you make people happy? And I told him, I don't.

I don't. God does. And that's all I shared with him. I told him, can I? But it's, I just introduce you to love.

I remind you that it's there that God is where you're sitting.

And when your head is full of a song or full of a chant, it's no longer full of thoughts about you, about your past, about your future.

You're aware of something bigger than you, something faster than you.

That's just beyond a song, just beyond the mind.
