: Kelly welcomes writer, podcaster, and entrepreneur with a passion for storytelling, Nicole Christie. Founder & CEO of Tulla (tools) Productions, and host of the Here For Me Podcast. Nicole spent many years working in communications for Microsoft and it wasn't until she had two major health crises back to back that she realized she needed a life change. Nicole speaks to the way our body processes or doesn't process emotions and how that can manifest physically. She also speaks to the chronic stress she was under working in the corporate world while trying to manage a marriage with narcissistic abuse. Nicole and Kelly both let the listeners into the inner workings of their similar relationships and talk about how being a part of those relationships looked in their lives.
"For me it isn't about diagnosing anyone else anymore, it's about listening to my body when it's speaking to me and not trying to turn the other way. It's about how I am behaving and feeling in each situation, not the other person."
The women also talk about the recovery process from a relationship like this and often how difficult it is to actually leave.
"I kept saying to people- I just want my brain back."
