Grateful for the chance to sit down with you today.

This is going to be the first in a long line of conversations that we will be having here on this podcast with folks that I deeply respect as having experienced the complexity of life and who I think have a perspective that has gained wisdom

and experience that would make their perspective being shared with you valuable to helping each

of you to kind of lean into what Richard Rohr calls the second half of life.

And so without further ado, I'm going to bring on my guest today,

the fresh king, Benjamin.

I'm doing really great.

And I'm so tickled to be your first conversation.

Yeah.

And you and I have known each other for several years now at this point.

When I moved out here to southern Utah, I met you right away and sat down at a group setting and

had the chance to listen to you tell your story. And I found it deeply captivating. And that's been

told in other places. So we're not going to do that necessarily here other than sort of a brief mention. But before we jump into it, I'll give you a moment to give a brief bio about yourself. And then we'll talk a little bit about that upbringing so that folks can understand what kind of experiences you bring to this conversation table.

So just brief bio, I was born in Mormon polygamy.

My parents and my family has been LD, they've been Mormon for almost 200 years.
