Welcome to another episode of the Almost Awaken podcast.

This is the second and a long series of conversations that I hope to have with folks that are friends of mine,

folks that I know in this space of awakenness who have done kind of the

inner work and they've had life experiences. And today's guest I'm really excited about. It's a really

good friend of mine. His name is Miles. And I'll bring him on here and we'll, we'll begin the

conversation. But this should be a lot of fun folks today and I hope that you really enjoy this and so without without further ado let me grab the screen here and pull him up Miles how are you?

Hey Bill how are you I'm doing well thank you.

Excellent so let me start by telling people about the first time I met you.

Yeah. And you can fill in some of the blanks. And then we can talk a little bit. I think if you're

comfortable, I'd like to talk a little bit about the journey behind you first, just a little bit of a setup so that folks can get a feel for who you are,

what at least some of the kind of big events in your life have been and some of the,

what's led to maybe you really jumping into sort of inner work and doing the things that

bring to this moment, a very grounded, in my perspective anyway, a very grounded, wise, developed

human being who, as I've been in numerous conversations with you, somebody who seems to hold

space for other people's individuality, seems to recognize the harm that we sometimes do as human beings,

especially if we collectively band together over beliefs or shared constructs that

can sometimes be used to hurt or traumatize others.

But the first time I met you, I knew your husband,

Jim, and we, me and my wife and some friends, we came out to, I think we all met maybe in

Vegas.

Was that right?
