Hello.

And we're back for another episode where we talk about aviation and among other things we apologize to begin this episode because we looked at our

calendar and last episode we promised that we would have a discussion about ATC privatization.

Then we looked at our calendar and realized that this week was the Paris Air Show.

Oops! The largest gathering of commercial, military, private aviation in the world.

And so the folks that we wanted to bring on are busy doing their jobs at the Paris Air Show. A lot of the people who cover the

industry are there and so we decided to push this off also because we hadn't really seen anything by the way of actual legislation.

That sort of changed today with the introduction of a bill in the US House of Representatives that would split the

air traffic control portion of the Federal Aviation Administration off into a private

entity.

So we're going to do a lot of reading or I'm going to do a lot of reading because Jason won't.

You can summarize it for me.

And I will give him the Cliff's versions and then we will redouble our efforts to bring you some some better content as far as A to C privatization goes in a discussion of that now that we have some meat to dig into.

Yeah if anyone that we wanted to bring on onto the show has not died of heat stroke

at the Paris Air Show we'll have them on this show. It has been warm in Paris this week, that's for certain.

Yeah, warm is a bit of an understatement, so I'm kind of glad I'm not there this year.

I'm a bit sad I'm not there, but I can do without the near 100 degree temperatures or 30 Celsius or whatever. I think it's 30, right?

I think the high was 34 at one point so it it got up there it was yeah
