I'm enjoying what I hope is the tail end of the cold that all of the kids

had last week that they then graciously graciously gave me. So that's been fun.

That's so nice to them. The best part about all of this is that the cold

coincided with getting my bivalent COVID booster and flu shot. So I have felt just peachy the past couple days, which has just been a whole lot of fun.

You're going to power through it. I'm going to power through it. Everybody gets the Don La Fontaine version of me today.

And if you don't know who that is, I've just dated myself and go look him up.

But we've got a great show for you this week.

There's a lot going on.

A lot more than I thought happened when we started putting the show

notes together I was like oh it was a quiet week last week it was not a quiet

week last week it just snuck right up on us but the best part of the show is going to be,

we're going to have Mark Van Hanacker back on the show

in a little bit.

He has a new book coming out that kind of jumps off of Skyfaring that we talked about in a previous episode and

we're going to talk with Mark about kind of the pilot's perspective on cities. Pilots often get a perspective that most of us don't on cities and so we're

going to talk about that and he's going to read an excerpt from the new books.
