Coming into the weekend, we had a show lined up where we were going to have to finally buy Jeremy Dwyer Lindgren his sub sandwich.

He was about to earn a sub sandwich.

We're going to talk about a lot about aviation memorabilia and some really cool stuff from airlines in a bygone era and we were really excited about it and then this weekend happened.

So on Saturday morning in Europe, a 747 departing Maastricht had some pieces depart one of its engines and

departed not long after departure, reined down engine pieces and unfortunately injured someone on the ground.

And the Dutch investigative body is currently looking into that particular incident.

And then just a few hours later...

That was only the appetizer for the day.

Yeah.

Then just a few hours later a United Triple 7 200 was departing Denver and about four and a half minutes after departure.

Its engine also went boom.

And in a big spectacular way.

Yes, and so the first aircraft was a cargo 747.

So there was some debris, the aircraft circled, well

the checklists were run and they made a safe diversion to Leipzig.
