What's up everyone Kevin from Epic Gardening here and we're back again with Ben Hale from Easy Living Yards and today we're talking about some of the more practical elements of landscaping your yard.

And the first one would be avoiding mistakes.

Because if you can avoid a mistake,

you're probably going to avoid a lot of the other problems

that are going to happen in your landscape down the road.

I mean, these are very tried and true principles.

Same with edible gardening.

If you avoid planting mistakes, well, then you're not going to have crowding out

down the road later in the season or if you

plant something in too small of a pot well then you might be in trouble and a lot of

that time is wasted so it's always important to avoid mistakes before you can

even come into the problems that they cause.

And so Ben, what are the, I guess, principal areas where people are making mistakes in

their landscaping?

So when it comes to principal areas that mistake... making mistakes in their

happen.

Really, there's kind of, I would say, almost one overarching thing,

which is not thinking with intent before making a decision.

And so when you're coming into a landscape, and unfortunately for us,

a lot of us moving to a new property might already have existing mistakes that we have to deal with.

And that's the worst because you're not the one that did it.

But when it comes to actually say you want to plant a plant in your space and it could be in your garden too.
