I’ve got Justin Colby on my podcast today! Justin went to UCLA but firmly believes that college degrees are not that important because he’s never used his! He’s been an entrepreneur ever since he graduated! He got his degree in English because of a stat he read stating that 50% of the fortune 500 were English majors. What’s ironic is that through high school he read only one book! He went into sales where he owned a door-to-door sales business selling a variety of products. Justin believes that this was a great experience and grew his sales skills immensely. He eventually caught pneumonia and had to shut down the sales business. While recovering, Justin Colby got into real estate and ended up opening his own brokerage. When the market crashed in 2008, Justin went broke! This is when he transitioned from his brokerage to the investing side of real estate.
