#256 RECYCLED. August Sandberg is a Norwegian sailor and filmmaker who is the full-time skipper of ISBJORN. He has been co-hosting the podcast and leading as an admiral on The QUARTERDECK while we have worked remotely this past year. August lives on a small island off the coast of Bergen, Norway, where he has been doing a lot of skating, skiing, and ice fishing through the winter. Andy interviewed August in February of 2019, before he had ever sailed with 59 North.

ON THE WIND is exclusively sponsored by Dakota Lithium, an American company building tough, long-lasting lithium-iron-phosphate batteries for a variety of applications. We just installed 200 aH of Dakota Lithium on SPICA in Sweden, and are preparing for a major lithium conversion on ICEBEAR, our Swan 59. Check them out at dakotalithium.com.

| 1:11.3 | Dakota lithium has harnished the power of lithium chemistry and combined it with North Dakota |
| 1:15.3 | grit to build you a better battery. Their lithium chemistry is the Life Po 4, sometimes |
| 1:21.4 | you've seen it referred to as. It's basically lithium iron phosphate, which is different from the |
| 1:26.2 | batteries in your phone or computer and |
