Summary

Explore 25 years of UFO sightings in Canada with long-time investigator Chris Rutkowski. He and his colleagues have accumulated a huge archive containing some 15,000 UFO cases in Canada. The new survey covers the years 1989 through 2013. When you check the report at his Ufology Research site, you'll notice that the number of sightings increased in 2012 before settling down to a somewhat lower, but still historically high, level in 2013. Says his bio: "Chris Rutkowski, BSc, MEd, is a Canadian science writer and educator, with a background in astronomy but with a passion for teaching science concepts to children and adults. Since the mid-1970s, he also has been studying reports of UFOs and writing about his investigations and research."

1:11.7	Number one, I wrote to Kathleen Marden, who is Betty Hill's niece, and she'll probably be on the show in the
1:18.2	next few weeks. But in any case, she remarked that in general, Schaefer misrepresents
1:23.8	the facts about the Hill case to prove his point. That's one thing. The second thing,
1:29.6	of course, is that we have this disagreement, apparently, between Micah Hanks and Robert Schaefer,
1:35.9	because Hanks, in talking with Schaefer, got the impression he believed that a lot of the people
1:42.2	who report UFOs are lying. When we posed that
1:45.0	question to him last week, well, maybe some are. So we have two testimony versions here. And if
1:51.5	Schaefer is right, that you can't believe a person's testimony. Well, why should we believe him?
1:58.0	Why should we believe what he has to say or his version of facts if what
2:02.8	people say is unreliable? I put that to you, Chris. Well, boy, you've got to go out and actually
