Summary

We present UFO researcher Cheryl Costa, co-author of “The UFO Sightings Desk Reference: United States of America 2001 – 2020,” a book that presents data and analysis for 167,632 sighting reports of UFOs reported by individuals during the first 20 years of the 21st century. Since 1969, the government has claimed no interest in the subject and the press and media either ignore or ridicule mention of UFOs. Yet citizen scientists and nongovernmental organizations have continued to this day the research into this important subject. Cheryl is a native and resident of upstate New York who saw her first UFO at age 12. A military veteran, she’s a retired information security professional from the aerospace Industry. She’s been a speaker at the International UFO Congress and at the MUFON Symposium.

1:28.4	it's an operation. But of course, the real bionic nature of my life would be they have to replace
1:33.7	a couple of heart valves. That's where I think even, what was it here, Captain Picard had an
1:40.2	artificial heart, didn't he? Any of you Star Trek people out there? No, Cheryl, Randall?
1:45.9	Yeah, he did.
1:46.8	Right, yes, he did.
1:47.9	Absolutely.
1:48.5	Yeah, he got in some bar fight or something when he was much younger and ended up needing
1:53.2	emergency surgery.
1:55.6	And so maybe that's why he never really liked kids too much.
1:58.9	I don't know.
2:00.7	Well, you see, but the point is here, I think, in the 23rd century, they'd have that really down in a way that isn't there now.
