Let's get into the mix.

Here are your two Washington headlines of the day.

Number one, the latest on infrastructure in the Senate.

Boy, oh boy, it's going a lot slower than many wanted.

And number two, a deep dive into the debt ceiling discussion, particularly among

House Democrats. All right, Jake, let's talk about infrastructure. There had seemed as though

the Senate might actually move into warp speed. I think as we described it yesterday and come to

an agreement and move fairly quickly to pass what I think everybody

believes is going to pass is bipartisan infrastructure package but that didn't happen somebody

put the brakes on the whole thing yeah this is the United States Senate right I mean so okay

let's just go over where we are, where we were, where we

were going, just a whole life cycle here. Well, I don't know where we're going, unfortunately,

but I guess we can make some educated guesses here. So here's the, so yesterday they spent

all day trying to get what's called in the Senate a time agreement.

So if you follow a regular course, the infrastructure package, which is going to pass.

Keep that in mind.

This is not going to fail.
