schemed with her employer, who was also her lover, to kill his wife and another man.

Juliana Perez Magallais pleaded guilty to a downgraded manslaughter charge in exchange

for her testimony against Brendan Banfield, who fatally stabbed his wife Christine and fatally shot

Joseph Ryan, a man who was

lured by the killers to engage in a sexual encounter with his wife, unbeknownst to her. During

sentencing, Magallai's expressed remorse for straying from her morals to pursue the illicit

affair. There are so many regrets, but this is my biggest. That's a, that's my biggest.

That's it.

That's a tragedy I have been caring with me.

And I will always do.

While prosecutors recommended her immediate release,

the judge ended up delivering the maximum possible sentence.
