One of the ways I love starting episodes with you, Pam, is to sharing some of the things

I've come across recently, just ideas or things that are worth unpacking.

Maybe at a later date, but they're for sure worth sharing.

And we don't necessarily fit this stage right now because our oldest skin rightly for college

at the time of this recording.

So it's a new stage coming up, definitely.

It's exciting.

Absolutely it is.

Absolutely.

But I was listening to a guy that was talking about when your kids get married, that you're

not welcoming a new person to your family.

They are starting their own.

As parents, you become extended family.

And I think a lot of times we get that backwards.

That's an entry game.

And you should continue all of our traditions rather than, no, you're starting your own.

You're creating your own system, your own family, your own dynamic.

Which we think about so many of the people we talk about that their struggle is within

laws and the expectation of the parents to continue with traditions or things like that.

That's a whole different perspective switch to help change that dynamic when your kids

launch.
