Welcome to the Crazy Love podcast. When you go to church, are you simply attending or are you seeking to encounter the living God?

I'm just going to keep the band up here with me today, and I'm going to stay up here with them,

because we really want this just to be a time where we seriously come into the presence of God and worship Him, and so we're going to be going back and forth between responding

to the Word of God and hearing the Word of God. And I got to ask you as we get started this morning,

I mean, honestly, think about your mindset as you came into this room. Okay, think back just 15 minutes

ago. Did you come in this room to attend a church service?

Or did you come into this room because you wanted to experience God?

And did you come in here going, you know what, I want to just connect, engage with my creator,

tell him how wonderful he is.

I want to hear from him and just have him search my heart and show me where I need to change I mean what what was your attitude coming to church

today was it just okay it's Sunday morning I've been doing this for 30 years here's

another Sunday drop my kids off at the kids ministry, whatever it is, and then come

in the service, sing a few songs, hear a message, or to come here saying, I want to respond

and interact with the Word of God. I want it to change me. I want to experience God this morning.

I want a life-changing experience. I want God to move me. I want him to use me. And I want to

come in this room and just express to him how crazy I am about him. And a couple of weeks ago,

I spoke about the indescribable nature of God and how there's this incomprehensible side of God.

Well, not side of God.

That's just what he is.
