Well, today's book is Atomic Habits by James Clear.

Atomic Habits teaches lessons for building good habits and losing bad ones.

But it didn't teach me the habit I thought it would based on the title, Uranium Enrichment.

All right, lesson one, make the good habit easier to do.

So one of my least favorite phrases right after, I think you're a really great guy,

is the phrase no pain, no gain.

Because I feel like it taught millions of us, including me, that something has to be hard

for it to be beneficial.

And what he says in the book is,

if you're trying to gain a good habit, try to make it as easy as possible. So for me, my personal

example is books. Like, I love reading, but I'm very busy. Audiosbooks make reading so much

easier. And I've met people who think audiobooks are cheating because reading only counts if it's

hard.
