forever when her father was arrested and convicted of drug dealing. She learned

she said that good people make bad decisions and it's important to have

empathy for the incarcerated. She's also addressing something from deep in the

history of Atlanta. She's reopened the investigation into the Atlanta Child Murders, which happened between 1979 and

1981 when at least 28 children were snatched and killed in a bizarre and frightening story that put fear into black homes around the country

including mine.

Kids were getting snatched out of their beds in the middle of the night and disappearing or

found dead.

And no one was ever convicted of any of those murders.

Wayne Williams was convicted of two other murders of adults and many thought,

okay that means he was the man because after that they stopped.

But a lot of people think he was the wrong man.
