Glad to have you on once again.

I think this is maybe your fourth or fifth time with you and I having a conversation.

We're going to go into morality, and I'll just give the listeners a little bit of a backdrop.

Recently, I started a series of discussions with Jacob Hanson, who is an intelligent, articulate,

believing member of the LDS Church.

We are just taking it session by session, agreeing to a topic, and then that Friday,

going live and having the conversation.

The very first session was on morality and essentially

around how one who doesn't believe in God forms morality and how one who trust in the Judeo-Christian

movement frames morality and whether one morality is trustable over another or more effective over another.

And then our second session, we talked about faith crises, but it seemed like half the

conversation came back to morality. And I felt like session one was really good. And folks,

discussions with Jacob. The first discussion, I was really happy with how both sides presented

their points of view. When I got into the second one, and it came back to morality and talking

about faith crises.

There were several moments where I felt sort of out of my own, out of my own natural place

where I kind of thrive talking about this stuff.
