and technology news with me, Dan Wood. And me, Ravi Abbott. Oh, and I've been looking forward to this week's show. Oh, it's been a good one. I've seen you put little teasers out on Facebook. Now, obviously, on this podcast every week, we like to bring you not only the latest going on in the world of retro gaming and technology, but also we strive to bring you an absolute legend,

a veteran of the video games industry.

Somebody's just going to tell us a really interesting story and maybe clear up a few myths

and give us kind of an insight into like video game history and culture.

No, this guy's fantastic. Howard Scott Warshaw, you know, he's the first guy to actually have

his name written as a designer on the Atari game, and that was Yars Revenge, also Raiders

of the Lost Archie did with Steven Spielberg and the legendary ET, which if you've seen the film Atari Game Over,

you would know it was buried in the desert and kind of became the thing of myth and legend.

It's got the title, The Worst Video Game Ever.

Yeah, so that's why we're going to really talk about it and actually find out if it was a worst video game ever.

Now, because this is a bit of a first on our show, because this interview is so in depth, and also Howard's writing a book. So he kind of said to us, look, guys, you can interview me, but I want everything in there. And I want to use it for my book in those notes and that kind of stuff. we were like, you know, more than happy to do that.
