that you've written barely recently. Can you talk kind of about your background and what led you

to write at our wit's end? Oh, well, I started off originally. I did a theology degree,

and from there I became very, very

interested in fundamentalism and in the psychology of fundamentalism and why people are very,

very religious. So that led to a PhD in religious studies, and then from there I became

interested in Finland, because I moved there in nationalism and the psychology of nationalism

and what makes some groups different from other groups psychologically.

And that took me into intelligence and personality and things like that.
