Summary

This is a Grave Talks CLASSIC EPISODE!

What happened to Shiloh and her team at the remnants of an old battlefield train depot in Mississippi?

Shiloh Beene grew up with the paranormal. Having spent many years residing with her grandmother in the family home built in 1849, she would hear unexplained footsteps distracting her from her studies. This would eventually lead to witnessing small dark figures watching her and her family from around corners. As time passed, these entities would continue to make themselves known in different, sometimes very peculiar ways. Experiences that would eventually lead Shiloh into the world of paranormal investigation work and trying to understand for herself just who or what else lives amongst us. This is Part Two of our conversation.

I was going to ask you, have you ever returned to the site of the house now that it's torn down yourself beyond seeing a picture

0:16.2

and just be there for a moment in time to see if you feel anything to see if you

0:22.3

sense anything have you physically gone there and done that or was that just that feeling that you got just from the picture and talking to your cousin?

0:31.0

It's just the feeling that I got from the picture. I haven't, you know, gone there physically. I mean, it's goodness, the plane tickets and rental cars and everything else to get home is quite expensive because it's a limited access area.

0:46.3

So just double the price of going anywhere.

0:49.2

That's what it costs to get home. So I haven't physically gone there, you know, but the feeling that you

0:58.7

get from the picture is just nothingness, loneliness, sadness. That's it. Sure. You know. Let me ask you how

1:10.9

did you get into the world of paranormal investigations as an adult?

1:15.4

Obviously, there's interest there. Obviously you've had some experiences, you know, in your

1:20.4

youth growing up. What was it? How did you begin to to enter that world or that realm and why?

1:28.7

Well, having grown up and having a lot of different experiences that can't be explained and can't be

1:35.2

denied, you know, there's something there to it. In late elementary school is when you just get thirsty for knowledge, thirsty for information.

1:50.6

So I used to read any and every book out there that I could get my hands on.

1:57.0

Ghosts and legends and for me to triangle and everything unique different unexplained.

2:03.6

So for many years, you know, throughout elementary school,

2:06.9

middle school, high school reading books.

2:09.6

And then, you know, TV shows started. so that provided more information and exposed you to more things and for

2:19.7

myself it's kind of a journey that I've always been on because it's always been around but as

2:26.4

you enter adulthood well now you are making your own money you can actually buy equipment and see if you can record some of the stuff for yourself.

2:36.0

And I'll tell you it's funny.

2:40.0

My first quote-unquote, you know, of investigation was myself and a couple of gal pals.
