Kate welcome to the show. Thank you Chris how you doing. Good and

Kate's come to talk to us about a region of southern Italy called Pulia.

Kate what's your connection with Pulia? I am a travel blogger and I adore Italy, love

Italy, been to a lot of Italy, spend about a year there if you add it all up. And Pulia is this region on the heel of the boot. It's known for its beaches. And we actually had a trip booked there in 2020, and we were going to do this whole big thing. We all know how that story ends, but we finally made it in 2022 and did a huge trip, which was great.

Excellent. And why should someone go to Puyo?

Yeah, so essentially, Puya is best known for a few things.

It's beaches, it's food, it's adorable whitewashed towns,

and the fact that it is one of Italy's more affordable beach

destinations, which is, is of course a draw.

Excellent. What kind of itinerary are you going to recommend for us?

Yeah so there's basically two ways to structure a one week trip to Pulia so I'm going to talk

about the way that involves moving around more, but also in the back of your mind, just keep in mind that if you want to see a smaller section of it, renting an apartment for a week in one of these beach towns and day tripping can be done. Most of these places are within an hour or two of each other.

It's just not that far of a distance.

So essentially in Puya, you're gonna wanna see a few things.'re going to want to hit the beach you're going to want to see some history

You're going to want to hit one of the two UNESCO World Heritage sites at least and you're going to want to relax
