I'd like to welcome to the show Dan Decker from Lexington, Kentucky who's come to

talk to us about the island of Monserrat. Dan, welcome to the show.

When we talk about the island of Moncerat, where are we talking about, first of all?

Yeah, that's the big question I get

too whenever I tell people I've been to monorot they say where is that? So we are in the

Caribbean there is the lesser Antilles island chain kind of arks down toward South America and

Mozarot is in the middle it is west of Antiga and south of St Kitts so if you

know where those are in the middle of that chain there, that's where Moncerat sits.

Excellent, well, why should someone go to Moncerat?

We found Moncerat.

Actually, it's a funny story how we found it. I'm not sure if you're familiar with the

Jason Bourne movies. Sure. They came out with Math Damon. They're based on a book series.

I had read the books long before the movies came out. Yeah.

Okay, so as you may be familiar, probably nobody else is, in the third book, he has to hide his family

from another assassin and he hides them in a fictitious resort on the island of Montserrat.

I did not remember that.

And so that's how we first heard of it was we looked it up, said,

what is Montserrat, is it and of course the most
