Let's talk about the Wind Star

Star breeze. This is going to be another solo episode. I'm just back from my

second international trip here in 2021 and in my head the way I had

planned to talk this episode which was a cruise in the Caribbean with Windstar was to talk to you about the ship and the itinerary and then at the end talk

about what it's like to travel in 2021 here where we're having a COVID epidemic.

And I'm probably not going to do it in that order even though that order still made sense to me

because it's going to be a little hard to explain some things without getting into the end first,

which is what it's like to travel in 2021.

But first, let's talk a little bit about Windstar.

I don't know if you know the ship that I'm talking about that I cruised on, but if I told you that the ship was at anchor and that people who were passengers and the ship were jumping off the back into the ocean. You would probably get one

particular mental image of the size of the ship that I'm talking about and if I

told you that the ship had five different dining rooms you would get a very different one. And so this is a small

ship for a cruise ship. If it was full, it would have 312 passengers. It's still an 8-deck ship and it looks big

until you see it parked next to one of the other 2,000 or 5,000 passenger ships and so
