today has come back to talk about Tenerife.

And we're talking about Tenerife,

so an island off the coast of Africa belonging to Spain?

Spain.

What's your connection with Tenerife?

So I actually lived in Tenerife for a good chunk of 2021. I had visited there a couple times in 2019 and on the first day that my wife and I visited it immediately reminded us of the Big Island of Hawaii and also a little bit of

southern California and kind of a great balance of both of those.

And so we went back a second time around Christmas of 2019 to visit again and decided that we would like to make a go of it.

We didn't know COVID was going to happen, but even despite that we ended up moving there in early 2021 and had a great time living there when we did.

Excellent.

And why should someone go to Tenerife?

Because it really is a great mixture of so many things. It has a lot of the natural

beauty of Hawaii of the big island. It reminds me a ton of the big island, but it has a
